This paper talks about how easily exposed children are to pesticides while working on tobacco plantations. Organophosphorus (OP) and carbamic pesticides are used on the plantations where up to 3000 children and their families work. The aim of the study was to assess the effect of pesticide exposure on acetylcholinesterase levels of young migrant Mexican tobacco workers and their siblings.
