This paper combines a review of the existing literature, an overview of findings from numerous community-based organizations, and data collected by government agencies to provide a state-of-the-art analysis of the growing HIV/AIDS crisis among Latinos in the U.S., as well as corresponding recommendations for Latino involvement in the community-based participatory research related to HIV/AIDS prevention and treatment.
