Skin cancer is the most common type of cancer in the United States; it is estimated that one million people in the United States are diagnosed with some form of skin cancer each year. When detected and treated early (before it spreads) skin cancer is highly curable. This Spanish/English booklet addresses the risks and prevention of skin cancer. It also defines the different types of skin cancers and contains illustrations of skin cancer cells.
