This is the proceeding for the 1964 4th Annual Conference on Families Who Move With the Crops, held in Bakersfield, CA; February 27 and 28. The Conference focused on these questions/issues: 1. To examine the reality of the situation: what are the facts as seen by the grower? The laborer? The consumer? And the State? 2. To face our responsibilities to one another: honest pay for honest work, necessary health services, equal educational opportunities and adequate housing. 3. To respect each other and individuals having human emotions, desires, aspirations and integrity.
