Professional Resource Manual: North American Guidelines for Children's Agricultural Tasks
Author: Lee, Barbara
Date Published: 1999
The guidelines are a new resource to help adults match a child's physical, mental and psychosocial abilities with the requirements of agricultural jobs. This will enable children ages 7-16 years to have a safe, meaningful work experience in agriculture. Using the job hazard analysis framework, an extensive amount of detailed information for agricultural jobs commonly performed by children is available in a NAGCAT Professional Resource binder. Simplified, illustrated posters for each job were developed as a parent resource.
