This is the 1968 annual report of migrant labor in Texas. The 59th Legislature of the State of Texas terminated the affairs of the formerly independent state agency, the Council on Migrant Labor, and transferred its functions to the Good Neighbor Commission of Texas, effective on September 1, 1965. Among the statutory responsibilities by the Commission is to "survey conditions and study problems related to migrant labor in Texas" and this analysis of the 1968 migration shows the results of that survey and study.
