A Comparison of the CPS and NAWS Surveys of Agricultural Workers

This research study compares CPS and NAWS. Farm workers sampled in both surveys are on average young and poorly educated. Most of the workers are male. Slightly less than half are married and living with their spouses. Most work long hours and are paid less than workers in many other sectors of the economy.
