This report goes into extensive detail about the housing situation in Hood River, Malheur, Marion-Polk, and Wasco Counties in Oregon, 1966. The objectives of this study were to determine: 1. What housing in now available; methods of housing; how it is provided; and costs of housing 2. Adequacy of present housing in attracting and holding migrant labor 3. Growers' estimates of future needs and how these needs can be met 4. Credit availability and credit terms and their effect on the quantity and quality of housing 5. Factors influencing decisions of farm operators as to constructing, improving, or discontinuing farm housing.
