Maricopa County Migratory Farm Labor Housing Study

Author: Employment Security Commission of Arizona
Date Published: 1957

This research document compiled a comprehensive study of housing and community situations among migrant farmworkers in Maricopa County, AZ in 1957. Results showed that housing deficiencies do exist. Dilapidated structures, inadequate sanitary facilities, lack of beds and bedding, fire hazards, unsafe camp grounds, and the lack of health and welfare services seriously affect the health and welfare of migrant workers.
