Perspectives on Safety and Health among Migrant and Seasonal Farmworkers in the united States and Mexico: A Qualitative Field Study

The purpose of this study was to obtain detailed information about safety and health concerns of hired farmworkers in Colorado and Mexico. The study found that the most popular concerns were causes of farm, home and motor vehicle injury and the treatment preferences for injuries and illnesses. In closing, the article states the future studies that will be done in order to meet a deeper understanding of farmworker safety concerns.
