This report catalogs a project that investigated the process of value assimilation and behavioral change among Mexican-American and Negro immigrants in an urban, industrial community. The data were gathered during the three year period between 1959 and 1961. 1524 interviews were coded, placed on IBM cards and processed in the Numerical Analysis Laboratory of the University of Wisconsin.
