This report discusses findings from research on four ND counties and the declining farm population. It says that declines in population have made for a better balance between people and land and differences in living levels between the various parts of the state seem to have narrowed. Also, farms are becoming better adapted to climatic and technological conditions. These issues are discussed in detail and maps and charts are also provided.
