This report presents recommendations growing out of four regional forums that began in Visalia and concluded in Salinas. The forums were given the title Farm Worker Forums: Everybody Needs a Choice, which is derived from the principle that One-Stop Career Centers, and other program partners can empower California's farmworkers to improve the quality of their lives. The report deals specifically with farmworkers, as well as the agriculture industry, and rural communities. Topics covered include economics, farmworker needs, social equity, local programs, and recommendations. The report ends by describing various current efforts to develop workforce investment strategies serving agricultural businesses and workers.
