This is a bilingual training manual for employers with Hispanic workers that teaches how injuries can be prevented with machine safeguards. It is meant to reduce the number of injuries, such as crushed hands and arms, severed fingers and blindness, which are hazards of unguarded moving machines. Topics include points of operation that can be dangerous, possible injuries, guarded v. unguarded machines, safe techniques, and personal protective equipment. This manual includes a glossary, tailgate and overhead material.
