This study examines the prevalence and details of farmworkers' access to adequate and nutritious food and was conducted in person with 454 farmworkers in Fresno County, California. Findings of the study show that prevalence of food insecurity was 45 percent, with associated factors being income, documentation status, migration status, accompaniment status and food stamps. The findings also show that farmworkers have diets high in fat and low in fruit and vegetables and the school lunch and WIC programs were the most highly used programs.
