Housing For Migrant Farm Workers

Author: Loper, Ruby M.
Date Published: 1953

This publication has been prepared for those interested in planning, building, or inspecting housing for migrant farm workers. A review of the use of seasonal help, legislation affecting the employment of such help, and the economic and community problems involved is given. Designs for housing structures and camp layouts are shown, and methods of construction are discussed. These plans have been developed in response to requests from growers who want to improve their housing, and from lumber dealers who have been asked for assistance.
