This handbook was published for Puerto Rican farm workers who work and live in Pennsylvania rural areas during harvest season, and was created to promote an understanding of the Pennsylvania way of life for workers who are new to the community, customs, language, and laws of Pennsylvania. It includes information on history, employment, health and welfare services, laws, food, climate, and other resources available to the migrant worker in Pennsylvania.
