Approximately 291 day laborers completed a 70-question survey about lifestyle, HIV/AIDS, and health concerns. The survey covered HIV testing, personal beliefs about HIV age, education level, marital status, STD diagnosis, and personal habits. Interesting habits include a finding that more than one-third of the participants "exchanged food, shelter, drugs, or money for sex with a woman." About 8.6 percent, or 25 of the men interviewed, had sex with men. Other findings and generalized facts included in the 2006 report.
