Author: National Council of the Churches of Christ
Date Published: 1958

This experiment was meant to discover ways of meeting the needs of children of migratory farm families by teaching them life situation skills and to demonstrate how these projects can be developed and measure their value is in the lives of children and their parents. It also attempts to interest educational groups in teaching migratory children practical skills. Subjects were divided into a girls' group, a boys' group and adult classes and were encouraged to do daily activities, such as sewing, cleaning and building.
