Pediatric Care For Migrant Workers: An Opportunity For Teaching And Investigation

This article discusses a study that established a small field clinic that provides pediatric care for migrant families within a reasonable distance to Syracuse, NY. This clinic also offered instruction and experience to interested students and defined the chief pediatric problems among migrants in this area. Results show that the clinic was well received by public health nurses and parents and was valuable to the State Health Department as a teaching operation.
