New Beginnings is a guides that was created to expand on the themes and educational opportunities brought out in The Debilitator, an educational video that explores the impact of diabetes and its complications. New Beginnings is intended to help facilitate group discussions by providing stimulus questions, group and individual exercises, and role-playing experiences. It will be a great help in outreach efforts and will provide an opportunity to collaborate with community partners. Learning objectives, tips for leading a discussion on diabetes, and materials and handouts for discussion on the impact of diabetes are included in this discussion guide.
