The National Association of Community Health Centers, Inc (NACHC) conducted national surveys of farmworker and homeless patients receiving primary health care services in community health centers (CHC) using the Patient Experience Evaluation Report System (PEERS). The survey had three main purposes: 1. To give farmworkers and homeless patients a voice in the care they received at CHC. 2. To develop the first data bases. 3. To have national results. This monograph summarizes: background information on farmworker and homeless patients; How NACHC adapted the PEERS survey package; Selected findings: How CHC can survey their own patients using NACHC's survey instruments; How CHC can use their own patient survey results as well as the national results for quality improvement activities.
