The curriculum is designed for a trainer to prepare lay health workers in providing outreach to farmworker women. A three-day training is recommended for the successful implementation of the program. The training will assist lay health workers to become familiar with the breast and cervical cancer issues in providing education about the early detection and control of breast and cervical cancer, and in facilitating access to and utilization of screening services.
