This versatile, fully bilingual tool was created with extension educators, Certified Diabetes Educators and public health workers to give information about diabetes to people with limited reading ability and little or no knowledge about diabetes. This colorful, but simple game is competitive and keeps the players focused on the messages written and presented in plain language. The awareness it offers is: The different types of diabetes; possible symptoms; effects on the body; prevention; management; and stresses the importance of family support.
