The National Immunization Survey (NIS) is used during this study to characterize children who 1. Drop out of the program the WIC Program 2. Remain in WIC but are underimmunized, and 3. are eligible but never enrolled. The knowledge gained from this analysis could enable WIC and immunization programs to target efforts at keeping children enrolled in WIC and to provide intervention efforts to those children in WIC who are not well immunized.
