Medicaid Information Packet

Author: Various Authors

Despite the alarming health risks among this population, migrant farmworkers are often uninsured and may not even have access to the most basic of preventive health services. While many farmworkers do qualify for Medicaid, many are unable to navigate a complex process to become enrolled, and those that do still face barriers in retaining that coverage when they move out-of-state. NCFH has put together a Farmworker Medicaid Packet that includes several reports and resources discussing the problem of getting farmworkers enrolled in Medicaid and details different programs and initiatives that are working to alleviate the problem.
