This report discusses enduring neurological effects as a result of acute Organophosphate poisoning. To investigate this possibility, they conducted a study of 128 men aged 16 and over who were poisoned by an organophosphate pesticide in California between 1982 and 1990. They studied neurological function via neurobehavioral tests, nerve conduction tests, vibrotactile sensitivity tests, a test of postural sway, and a neurological physical examination. The report concludes that there is evidence of some long-term effects of pesticide poisoning
