This issue talks about going back to school and relates to children about being nervous and what to expect at school. It also gives tips for kids to follow to make "school cool". The topic of washing your hands is discussed: The reasons why it is important to wash your hands, when to wash your hands, and how to properly wash your hands . Other ways to fight bacteria are also discussed, and a crossword puzzle related to hand washing is in this issue. "How can you tell if your child needs corrective lenses? " is another topic in this issue. There is a brief dialogue regarding a boy who may need glasses. The article discusses common refractive problems and what glasses do to help those problems. School exams are given each year and a nurse at the school can give a list of doctors to the parent. There is also a program called Sight for Students and their phone number is listed in this article. They can help students pay for glasses. Head Lice and it's Effects, are the final topic in this issue. There is a description of what lice look like, how they survive, and where and how they spread.
