This resource examines the different types of health hazards that children are at risk from working in farming communities. Some of them include fatal and nonfatal injuries; hazardous organic and inorganic exposures; trauma from over-exertion or repetitive motion; occupational skin diseases or disorders; work related noise induced hearing-loss; and stress. This article contains data tables that tell how old an individual must be to work both in agricultural and non-agricultural work fields, and how many hours per week they are allowed to work.
