Date Published: 1996

This publication is about the attempt to integrate rural primary care and mental health services. There is much interest in linking these two together. This publication offers help by describing how some rural primary care providers have created and sustained linkages with mental health providers using different resources and responding to different circumstances. Within this publication there are footnotes, as well as case studies showing 5 different Health Centers in the country that have successfully made this linkage work.
