This report provides basic information on the characteristics of migrant and settled farmworkers who live and work in Florida, with an emphasis on data useful to evaluate their health care needs. It provides detailed demographic information on Florida's farmworkers, and a description of the composition of farmworker households. Additionally, it provides an outline of the occupational profile of MSFWs, including worker's patterns of residence and migration; an outline of sources of health care used by farmworkers, and their access to employer-provided health insurance, as well as data related to coverage for occupational injuries.
