NFIC Annual Report 1974: Juarez Lincoln Center

Author: National Farmworker Information Clearinghouse
Date Published: 1974

The harsh setting which migrant and seasonal farmworkers confront out in the fields must be hewn into a national perspective. Through the use of factual data, objective opinions and interpretive reporting, the National Farmworker Information Clearinghouse seeks to generate the concerns which will eventually lead to constructive changes benefiting the farmworkers. Continued communication with CETA Title III migrant grantee organizations, the energy crisis and the new Comprehensive Employment and Training Act were the outstanding migrant farmworker issues of this past year. As we enter the beginning of a new year, these same issues continue to preoccupy the attention of ther staff. This annual report presents an overall glimpse of the efforts of the Juarez Lincoln Center during 1973-74.
