The National Association of Farmworker Organizations, created in 1973, is a national coalition of farmworker-governed, community-based organizations that have fought to secure a national voice for farmworkers and farmworker organizations; for equity and basic reform of laws; by impacting and educating the legislative process; by advocating against unfair or restrictive administrative regulations affecting farmworkers; and in the creation, development and maintenance of new resources for local farmworker organizations.
