The Migrant Health Center Referral Directory is compiled by the National Center for Farmworker Health in Buda, Texas. The directory lists migrant health facilities nationwide. These facilities comprise a network of health care services for migrant and seasonal farmworkers, and are funded by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), Public Health Service, Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), Bureau of Primary Health Care (BPHC). Both health center administrative office (grantees or projects) and their satellite offices are included. All listings are correct as of 2000-2001 unless otherwise noted. The directory contains: a map of health centers illustrating the locations of migrant health projects across the country; a DHHS Public Health Service personnel list providing the names and addresses of key federal and regional Public Health Service officials; a list of federal Public Health Service officials; a list of federal Public Health Service regional designations for each state; a directory of health centers which reported seeing significant numbers of farmworkers; a state map following the listing for each state; and appendices listing key individuals and organizations with the migrant health arena.
