This, the first issue of Farmworker News contains four features. The first, "Welcome to All!" introduces the newsletter, the Call For Health service, and their purposes. The second feature, "What Happened to Prop. 187?" discusses the current (1995) status of proposition 187, which sought to prohibit immigrants without papers from using health and education services. The third article features answers to health questions delivered by a physician and psychologist. The final feature discusses the importance of safety on the job.
