This issue of Farmworker News contains four articles. The first article, "Diabetes: 'Die or Beat it'," is a first-hand account of how devastating diabetes can be, and emphasizes the need for proper care of diabetes, including adopting healthy habits like a good diet and exercise. The fourth article, "Farmworker Family Gets Sprayed with Pesticide," recounts the experience of a family that had been sprayed with a pesticide while working in the fields.
