Also discussed are risk factors specific to the migrant lifestyle that may contribute to the onset or severity of asthma. The following article, "Skin Cancer," describes skin cancer, risk behaviors associated with it, ways to check for it and tips to prevent it. The third article, "Field of Platteville, Colorado (Harvest of hope for migrant workers)," provides a first-hand account of the life of a child of a migrant farmworker, and the lifestyles endured by migrant farmworkers. Appended to this article is a brief discussion of the recent availability of health care coverage of Mexican families with workers in the U.S. The issue concludes with a brief article expressing condolences to the families of those migrant farmers killed in an accident as they returned from a night's work.
