This issue of Farmworker News contains five articles and features another installment of the comic, "La Familia Chavez." The first article "Sun is good but too much sun is not," discusses the benefits of some exposure to the sun and health risks associated with overexposure. Included are several tips to protect against sun-related illnesses, and warning signs of heat stroke. The following article, "Keeping Your Mouth and Teeth Healthy," stresses the importance of dental health, especially on the road. It encourages readers to get dental check ups, learn to clean their teeth and gums, and lists those particularly at risk to dental disease. The next article, "Testicular Cancer," discusses what testicular cancer is, and risks associated with it. Readers are encouraged and instructed to check for testicular cancer, and are advised what to do if cancer may be present. Accompanying this article is "Mario's Story," a brief anecdote regarding his experience with testicular cancer.
