This issue of Farmworker News contains three articles and features another installment of the "La Familia Chavez" comic. The first article, "Pesticides and Your Health, Part One," emphasizes the dangers to health that pesticides present, and briefly discusses farmworker rights under the Worker Protection Standard. The article continues, providing several tips to help farmworkers protect themselves from exposure to pesticides. The following article, "Safe Roads Back Home," offers several travel safety tips to protect migrant farmworkers as they return home. The final article "WIC is for Farmworkers," describes the services and benefits offered by WIC and provisions of WIC specific to migrant farmworkers.
