Alternate Strategies for the Recruitment and Staffing of Seasonal Health Manpower in Migrant Health Centers

The purpose of this report is to provide migrant health centers and projects which receive funding authorized under Section 329 of the Public Health Service Act with alternate strategies for the recruitment and staffing of seasonal health manpower. Specifically, this report describes the seasonal health manpower recruitment and staffing methodologies currently in use by 15 migrant health centers and projects, identifies potential sources of temporary health manpower and presents strategies which can be used to assist migrant health projects in locating and recruiting seasonal clinical and nonclinical staff.
