This workbook gives guidelines and clinical measure advice to migrant health centers and the professionals that work in the centers. These guidelines are meant to fit into the structure of delivery of primary care to migrants. Guidelines given include how to correctly describe and label who is being sampled, and when and how. Advice is given on setting goals that deal with grants, doing risk assessments, using a data transfer system. A section of the workbook gives guidelines of the pediatric life cycle, starting with immunizations and ending with oral health measures. Similar sections follow that give similar guidelines on the adolescent, adult and geriatric life cycles.
These measures are similar to the measures for community health centers and are based on the same assumptions and principles. Also these are designed to fit into a migrant approach to delivery of care.
