Migrant Housing - A Benefit for Workers, and Farmers as Well

This article discusses how the Sunrise Apartments of Southwest Michigan came to be: a small project was undertaken because local migrant workers had inadequate housing, and the Farmers Home Administration granted the Rural Initiatives for Shelter and Education funding for the facility. The housing programs seems to work for this farming community as there are several restrictions to living at Sunrise Apartments. One of them involves proof of farmworker status.
