This document is a program from the 12th Annual National Conference of the National Rural Health Association, held in Reno, NV, on April30-May 3, 1989. The 12th Annual National Conference on Rural Health is devoted to addressing rural health issues and the educational needs of those who practice and work in rural areas, as well as others with an interest in rural health. The conference is designed to: develop practical skills and techniques in health services administration, organization and research; present practical clinical sessions of rural health providers; showcase current policy issues affecting rural health services; and report the results of research applicable to rural health services administration and providers. The conference program has been divided into five tracks. They are: (P) Policy, (M) Management, (R) Research, (C) Clinical, (WM) Working Models.
