These CLEF guidelines describe the management of Hypertension in Migrant Health Programs. Along with the guideline format of the CLEF plan, it discusses the definition of Hypertension; detection options such as outreach screening and review of family history; as well as quality assurance suggestions. The acronym "CLEF" was developed to identify these four areas: C- Culture of migrant patients; L- Language factors for consideration; E- Environmental/Educational factors; F- Follow-up care for a mobile population.
